Pantry At Number 5 Pantry

Thursday: 3.30pm - 4.30pm Friday: 10.00am -11.00am
Welcome to Pantry at Number 5!

-- Please read the below message in regards to Covid 19 --

The way you shop at Your Local Pantry at Number 5 is changing for now due to Covid-19.

If members are well and showing no symptoms of Covid-19, they can collect one pre-packed food bag of 10 items per week from the Pantry. Pantry at Number 5 will be open on Thursdays 3.30-4.30pm and Fridays 10am-11am.

As ever, good hygiene practices are being followed, our staff and volunteers will be washing their hands regularly, hand sanitizers are available and gloves will be worn when handling the bags. We will also be sanitising surfaces, handles and cleaning high traffic areas more regularly than usual.

If a member is self-isolating or ill, someone can collect on their behalf if they show their membership number.  We can arrange a delivery for pantry members that are unable to leave their home. Please contact us at to discuss this.

Members wanting to pay cash must bring the exact amount of £3.50 for their bag as we cannot provide change at the moment. Members paying by standing order who do not want a food bag during this time should cancel their standing order. We can now accept contactless card payments at the pantry or can help you to set up a standing order.

Please bear with us at this time. We are doing our best to serve Your Local Pantry members and the community in the best way we can. The health and wellbeing of our volunteers, pantry members and staff remains our highest priority. We appreciate your understanding and your support for our staff and volunteers, who will be working hard to ensure food is still available through the Pantry.

If you know someone who may benefit from Your Local Pantry, please encourage them to sign up via

Thank you for reading, stay safe and we hope to see you soon,

Your Local Pantry Stockport team.
