Welcome to Burgess Hill Pantry!

Everyone deserves access to good food. Everyone values community. Burgess Hill Pantry provides both - and so much more!

If you become a member, you will pay just £5 each time you visit, and in return you can access food worth far, far more - typically saving £21 a week. You’ll always find a wide selection, including fresh, frozen and long-life options, fruit and veg, family favourites and non-food essentials.

This is one of 120 Pantries all over the UK. They’re amazing places! Pantries bring people together around food, soften the impact of high living costs, reduce your shopping bills and give people some much-needed financial wriggle room. They’re also places for local people to meet and chat, lighten the load together, and share ideas that can start making change happen.

Burgess Hill Pantry is run in partnership with Burgess Hill Community Cupboard.

Pantry manager Claire Fuller says: “At Burgess Hill and District Pantry we are dedicated to supporting individuals and families struggling with food poverty in Mid Sussex. We believe that no one should go hungry and we work hard to provide access to essential groceries in a dignified, welcoming environment. Our team of amazing volunteers create a warm and cheerful space and as normal a shopping experience as possible. Supported by and supporting the community!"
