Welcome to Hope Pantry Merthyr Tydfil!

Everyone deserves access to good food. Everyone values community. Hope Pantry provides both - and so much more!
If you become a member, you will pay just £4.50 each time you visit, and in return you can access food worth far, far more - typically saving £27 a week. You’ll always find a wide selection, including fresh, frozen and long-life options, fruit and veg, family favourites and non-food essentials.
This is one of 120 Pantries all over the UK. They’re amazing places! Pantries bring people together around food, soften the impact of high living costs, reduce your shopping bills and give people some much-needed financial wriggle room. They’re also places for local people to meet and chat, lighten the load together, and share ideas that can start making change happen.

Pantry Member: "Because the cost of the fuel prices have increased we just haven't been able to save. We're just lucky that we've got this. It provides me with a sense of security, knowing that we have the food to eat and we don't have to worry about finding a large amount of money to do family shops."
Pantry Team: "Pantry helps to create financial wriggle room for members to start building the better future they seek. By reducing weekly shopping bills, members can free up money to cover other bills, repay debt or start pursuing thai and their children's dreams."
