Welcome to Via Wings Pantry (also known as The Larder)!

Everyone deserves access to good food. Everyone values community. Via Wings Pantry provides both - and so much more!

If you become a member, you will pay between £5-£10 each time you visit (dependent on your household size), and in return you can access food worth far, far more - typically saving £21 a week. You’ll always find a wide selection, including fresh, frozen and long-life options, and including fruit and veg, as well as non-food essentials.

This is one of 120 Pantries all over the UK. They’re amazing places! Pantries bring people together around food, soften the impact of high living costs, reduce your shopping bills and give people some much-needed financial wriggle room. They’re also places for local people to meet and chat, lighten the load together, and share ideas that can start making change happen.

The Pantry is run by the charity Via Wings

Pantry manager Elaine Livingstone says: "Our Larder aims to create a bridge to independence, where people can begin to transition out of food poverty, moving away from regular free food bags from our Dare2Care foodbank and move to paying a weekly membership within our Larder.

We want our Pantry to look inviting and to create a nice shopping environment for our members. We love that people have the option to choose from a variety of products
which helps them to meal plan and tailor what they buy to suit their family needs. With our wide variety of fresh, frozen and ambient food, as well as cleaning products and toiletries we make it easy and affordable to cook healthy meals for your family. We encourage creativity with cooking and offer a meal suggestion each week.

We pride ourselves in being a wraparound service, aiming to meet the needs of the individual in whatever way we can. We are here to help those in our community who need it most. What is most important to us is that everyone is treated with dignity and respect."
